Here's the brief story of how I got started and how I grew a global trading education company Onyx Trading Education (Formerly Onyx Forex, Onyx Crypto Education)
I started my trading journey in late 2016 when I was working as a real estate associate in one of the countries most successful brands. I had a colleague in the office who was day trading the stock market at that time, it spiked my interest but it wasn't until a few months later I decided to ask him what it was he was doing in his spare time, this led me to get quite close with him and as things progressed and I started learning more about the markets, I decided I would take him to coffee and figure out how to get started.
Early 2017 I opened my first live trading account and the beginner luck kicked in, I was making trades and seeing the potential that trading offered in the first few days of starting.
I remember clearly my first profitable trade was $168 in the FX market. At the time I was on about $800/week as an associate so to make my daily wage in just a few hours of trading, changed everything for me. It changed the way I viewed making money forever.
I was obsessed, I have an addictive personality so I dove head first into trading, spending as much time as I could after work (and during) to learn the basic fundamentals of technical analysis and risk management.
Fast forward to 2018, I had my first profitable trading quarter after investing about $6k into education and attending various seminars.
My profitability in trading sparked the interest of not only people around me, but people around them as well who were hungry to learn and wanted to pay me for my time just to show them how to trade.
I decided If I was to be consistently profitable and trade full time, I would strive to one day open a trading education company and help people like me who were starting out as beginners or people struggling in the markets.
2020 comes around and I launched Onyx Forex, which was an educational program specifically teaching complete beginners how to trade using technical analysis.
We educated over 1500 students globally in 5 different countries and we grew a community that loved what we did and the way that we taught, we have over 200 product reviews at 4.5 stars on Trustpilot.
The results spoke for themselves, we taught beginners how to trade and when I saw people using what I had taught them to quit their job, sell their businesses and take trading full time, I knew this was my passion.

Since being in this industry for so long now, I have seen the grim statistics on beginner traders that fail: About 90% of beginner traders will lose 90% of their capital within the first 90 days.
This is because the industry is so gamified and people are selling an ultra luxurious lifestyle with the perception that it doesn't take hard work.
This is simply untrue, trading is NOT easy and will not make you rich overnight.
It requires hard work and dedication to master the art of analysis, money management and trading psychology.
As the Founder of Onyx Trading Education, my goal is to give people the real side of trading and provide tested strategies and timeless trading foundations so that a member of our program has the best chance at success.
